In this haven of relaxation on the way to the Grimsel Pass, guests are even happy when the sun isn’t shining. Cool weather doesn’t mean a boring day indoors here. Quite the opposite, in fact – a few raindrops make a swim in the heated outdoor pool even more appealing.

Even today, there are still places where you can sit, relax and forget the world around you. Behind the hotel, nestled among tall pine trees and under the majestic Ärlenhorn and Gärstenhörner mountains, you can kick back, listen to the babbling mountain brook and take in the fresh mountain air.
Spring water
Our water comes from one of Europe’s most water-rich areas – the Grimsel region. This forms the watershed between the North Sea and Mediterranean.
The entire Nature Resort Handeck is supplied with spring water from the Handeckfluh. Whether showering, bathing, cooking or enjoying a refreshing drink straight from the tap – this valuable resource comes from the heart of nature.
Discgolf
The 9-hole-course is free to use and it starts right behind the Hotel und Naturressort Handeck and the alpine cheese farm.
Discgolf is great for families, friends, pros, beginners, schools or groups and you will have a lot of fun together in the forest and on the meadows.
