Generally
As we are not able to guarantee the distances as well the length of stay at all times (cable car rides, guided tours and all hotels), a mask obligation applies to everyone without exception for the protection of our guests. We ask for your understanding and thank you for your support.
Restaurant indoor
As of Monday, May 31, 2021, we will again be able to welcome external guests to our indoor restaurant in addition to our overnight guests. Seating consists of a maximum of 4 seats per table; this does not apply to parents with children. Seating is compulsory and contact information must be collected from everyone.
Terraces and outdoor areas
Our outdoor terraces are open. Seating consists of a maximum of 6 seats per table; this does not apply to parents with children. Seating is compulsory and contact information must be collected from everyone.
Our wellness and fitness facilities at the Handeck Hotel and Nature Resort are open to hotel guests. In the wellness area a mask obligation applies.
Only while swimming, in the steam bath or in the sauna the mask may be removed. Through restrictions on the number of persons as well as occupancy schedules with fixed time windows, we ensure that guests can benefit from the offers in the best possible way.
We strictly adhere to the specified protection regulations and hygiene measures of HotellerieSuisse (adherence to distances, regular disinfection, monitoring of the number of persons permitted).
The large garden behind the hotel Handeck is open for hotel guests and invites you to linger. The Nature Resort Handeck is a wonderful playground and place to stay for children and families.
We ask our guests to avoid crowds in the entire resort including the forest reserve Widmannshöhe and to always keep the minimum distance of 1.5 meters to other groups of guests.

The applicable restrictions on the number of persons apply in principle also to vaccinated and convalescent persons. They are counted in the maximum number of people allowed in the restaurant and at events.

Events and Seminars
As of Monday, May 31, a 50-person limit applies to events held indoors that are open to the public and on a restaurant terrace.
The current restaurant rules apply (tables of 4, minimum distance of 1.5 meters, collection of contact information, etc.) A banquet is currently not allowed.
In-company meetings
Intra-company meetings that are necessary for the normal flow of work in the company are permitted, subject to compliance with the protective and hygiene measures. External persons (e.g. speakers) are not allowed to attend company-internal meetings.
Other seminars
The holding of other seminars with an audience is permitted with restrictions. A maximum number of 50 participants applies.
