All of the mountain railways in the Grimselwelt were originally built as industrial railways for Kraftwerke Oberhasli and are still used for servicing our power plants today. Nowadays, we also have the pleasure of transporting our valued guests on these unique industrial railways. 

As a result, don’t be surprised if you see one of our employees in orange working clothes on your travels – this is simply a part of life when working in this exciting location.
