Hospiz: Spitallamm dams

Tour of the Spitallamm dams

The highest dam wall in the world at the time was built on Lake Grimsel 100 years ago, and the new Spitallamm dam wall – another work of the century – will go into operation in 2025. Along the way, our guides will tell you about the construction then and now, about the utilisation of the hydropower of Lake Grimsel and give you impressive insights.
