From the Grimsel Hospiz, take the Sidelhornbahn to the base of the Sidelhorn. The trail to the summit is a mountain hike offering views of the rugged and magnificent natural landscape of the Grimsel region. From the summit, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Goms, the Bernese High Alps, and the ice fields of the Rhone and Oberaargletscher. The descent takes you past the idyllic Triebtenseewli. From the Bäregg, the view opens up onto the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the final descent to Lake Oberaarsee follows. You’ll then take the Oberaarbahn back to the starting point.
