The connecting road between the Grimsel Pass and the Source of the Aare.
Panoramstrasse Oberaar is a private road owned by Power plant Oberhasli AG, which was opened up in 1949 for the construction of the Oberaar dam. The road is open to the public from around the end of June to the end of October. As an alternative, the Oberaarbahn can be used to reach the Oberaar area from the Hotel Grimsel Hospiz and gain a unique perspective of the Grimselwelt.
