Tälli: Switzerland’s first via ferrata

 DIFFICULT | 6 h | 8.2 km | 1090 m | 1090 m

Switzerland’s first via ferrata takes you right through the middle of the Gadmerfluh. At around 600 m long, it is one of the longest and most spectacular via ferratas in Switzerland. The starting point for the via ferrata is the Restaurant and Berghaus Tälli, which is easy to reach with the Tällibahn. The via ferrata can be climbed from July to October in safe weather. 78 m of ladders, 550 pins set in concrete and plenty of fixed ropes guarantee a safe ascent of the route. The descent is via the back of the Gadmerfluh and leads via Sätteli back to Berghaus Tälli or down to Engstlenalp.
