The world of Grimsel and Susten is a landscape full of stories and treasures. The muleteers once left their traces in these mountains. Today, the Oberhasli Power Plants produce electricity for a million people from the power of water with thirteen power stations. The symbiosis between nature and technology shapes the character of the landscape and provides people with a wealth of renewable energy. This world offers many unheard-of and unique things, from adrenaline rushes in the vertical to quiet spots by the water, from gourmet feasts to farm stores.

E-mobile charging stations in the Grimselwelt
Grimselwelt has e-mobile charging stations at the KWO company headquarters in Innertkirchen, at the Hotel and Nature Resort Handeck and at the Grimsel Hospiz. These are available to our guests and employees to charge up with electricity from hydropower around the clock.
Charging takes place via ChargeOne (QR code) and is subject to a charge.
Please release the charging station immediately after charging.
There is no entitlement to a charging station or reservation option.

Camping & Parking
Overnight stays in mobile homes and camping are not permitted here. Please use the official camping and pitches. Thank you very much and have a nice stay in the Grimselwelt.
Water safety
The practice of water sports is prohibited by law on all reservoirs.
Rivers can suddenly rise sharply due to heavy rainfall and the operation of hydropower plants. It is dangerous to be in the riverbed below a water intake or dam. Avoid riverbeds, be alert and pay attention to the warning signs along the course of the river in the catchment area.
