From the Grimsel Hospiz, take the Sidelhornbahn to the foot of the Sidelhorn. The route to the summit is a mountain tour with views of the barren and magnificent natural landscape of the Grimsel region. Once you reach the summit, you can enjoy an impressive view of the Goms, the Bernese Alps and the ice masses of the Rhone and Oberaargletscher glaciers. The descent leads past the idyllic Triebtenseewli. From the Bäregg, the view of the UNESCO World Heritage Site opens up and the final descent to the Oberaarsee follows. After refreshments at Berghaus Oberaar, take the Oberaarbahn back to the starting point.
