In summer
Our Hospizbahn takes hikers from the Grimsel Hospiz down to the Sommerloch and the hiking trail towards Rätrichsbodensee and Handeck in just a few minutes.
In winter
Exclusively for our hotel guests: the Hospizbahn is the last stage of the adventurous journey to the snow-covered Winter Oasis at the Alpinhotel Grimsel Hospiz.

Tickets
Tickets can be purchased online, at the Grimseltor Tourist Center in Innertkirchen, at the reception of the Grimsel Hospiz Alpine Hotel and at the ticket machines in the Grimsel Hospiz Visitor Center and at the valley station of the Hospizbahn.
Accepted means of payment at the ticket machines: EC and credit cards, REKA and postcard, Twint.
A subsequent change, exchange or refund of the purchase price is not possible.
Location and arrival
The valley station is located in the Summerloch between the Rätrichsboden and Grimselsee lakes.
The mountain station is located in the Grimsel Hospiz visitor center.
The Hospizbahn can be reached by car or post bus.
Equipment
We recommend sturdy shoes and weatherproof clothing. Temperatures and weather conditions can change quickly in the mountains.
Prerequisites
The mountain trails require surefootedness and a head for heights.
The Hospizbahn is not suitable for wheelchairs or baby carriages. It is self-propelled and is operated by the guests themselves. It is not possible to store luggage.

You can enjoy a meal before or after your visit at the Hotel Grimsel Hospiz and the Hotel and Nature Resort Handeck.
