Basically, you can do nothing but “relax” in the Winter Oasis.
The atmosphere in the hotel is personal, a fire crackles in the fireplace and a steaming hot tub awaits guests under the canopy of stars.

Hot tub and barrel sauna
Under the open sky, the heated hot tub invites you to relax. Right next door, you can sweat it out in the Finnish wooden barrel sauna. All you need to do to cool off is jump into the fresh snow.
Don’t forget to pack your swimming trunks.

Winter hiking trail
Discover the magical winter world on the winter hiking trail with snowshoes.
The shortest winter hiking trail in the Bernese Oberland leads once around the house. Marked out and well signposted, the hiking trail leads you out into the high alpine winter landscape. Standing in the middle of the wildlife reserve, it suddenly becomes clear why this area is under special protection.

Power plant tour
Every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 1.45 p.m. to 3.45 p.m.

The Grimselwelt Power Plants are power plants you can touch. Deep inside the mountain, life pulsates, here the turbines of the Oberhasli Power plants run at full speed year in, year out. Experience the energy in the granite up close and let yourself be enchanted by the Crystal cave.
Price per person CHF 38.00
Wildlife protection
The Grimsel Hospiz is located in a protected area and is not suitable as a base for ski tours. The oasis of peace for people and animals should be preserved. For safety reasons, it is not permitted to leave the marked guest perimeter on the Nollen of the Grimsel Hospiz.
For the sake of wildlife protection, no equipment for winter sports activities is transported on the operating lifts. Access to the hotel is also not permitted.
No pets in winter
As we cannot transport dogs in all means of transport, you will have to do without your pet in winter.
In addition, the dogs have no run around the Grimsel Hospiz in winter.
