Gelmer and Handeckstube
The lovingly furnished parlors of the Hotel Handeck make you feel particularly at home. The fine dishes made from regional ingredients are served in the rustic Gelmerstube, where time has darkened the wooden beams.
Or in the elegant, white-roofed Handeckstube. Delicious dishes à la carte or a simple snack with “Chäs u Brot” from the Handegg Alp – you are sure to find the right sip in the cellar with its exquisite wines.
Terrace
Some dare, while others simply watch.
From the terrace, you have an excellent view of the route of the steepest open funicular railway in Europe – the Gelmerbahn funicular railway.
Wine cellar
The small, charming wine cellar impresses with its selection, which has been carefully and thoughtfully chosen. The best way to admire this little treasure is to enjoy an aperitif in the cellar with your closest friends before heading to the table.
