Whether schools, climbing camps, families or friends who want to experience nature together – everyone feels particularly at home here in the high alpine mountain world. They appreciate the hut with its simple mattress dormitory as an ideal starting point for hikes and climbs. There is hardly any other place in Switzerland like the Bäregghütte, which is located in the middle of such an extensive protected area and yet can be rented by the public.
Lounge & kitchen
In addition to a large and bright lounge, you will find a well-equipped kitchen with tilting frying pan, tilting kettle and electric stove, dishwasher and enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for up to 62 guests.
The Alpinhütte Bäregg has running drinking water.
Mattress dormitory & ladder room
The alpine hut has a total of 62 sleeping places:
- 2 dormitories for 10 people each
- 2 dormitories for 20 people each
- 1 ladder room with 2 beds
The dormitories and the ladder room are equipped with woolen blankets and pillows. Pillowcases are provided by the Hotels. You must bring your own sleeping bags and towels.
Costs
The all-inclusive price includes pillows and pillowcases, use of electricity and water, cleaning materials and VAT, regardless of the number of people. Taxes are not included in the price

Cleaning
Cleaning is carried out using the handover and acceptance checklist.
In the event of insufficient cleaning by the tenant, the cleaning costs will be charged by Hotels at cost.

CONTACT & ARRIVAL BÄREGG
The Alpinhütte Bäregg is located in the Bernese Oberland in the middle of the breathtaking Grimselwelt and can be reached via the panoramic road from the Grimsel Pass. Access to the hut via the dirt road is permitted for a maximum of one vehicle with four-wheel drive. The handover of the keys for the road barrier and the alpine hut must be arranged in advance with the Hotels.
