This adventure trail from the  Grimsel Hospiz to the Handeck Children's and Family Hotel leads through one of the most mineral rich areas in the alps. Enjoy the unique natural surroundings along the crystal trail:  beside the Räterichsboden lake and the Aare river, across historical bridges and past sheer  granite cliffs.

There is much to learn about the fascinating world of crystals along the way at the activity stations.

• Open from end of  June till mid October
  
• Large picnic area with barbeque area at Räterichsbodensee and "Säumerstein"
• Hiking time is around 3 - 4 hours. The trail is not suitable for buggys.
  
• We recommend good hiking boots, sun and rain protection and comfortable clothing for hiking and playing in.
