Power Plant Tours - exciting underground experiences
Visit us in the Grimsel and Susten areas - take a look at a technical masterpiece in the midst of impressive natural surroundings. Descend into an underground world of tunnels, shafts, turbines and generators. Discover the inside of a storage dam. There is no day or night in this hidden world, neither summer nor winter. We recommend our guided tours for adults and children over 11 years of age. You can visit our power plant all year round! In winter, when the pass road is closed you can ride on the KWO's own aerial cable car - high above the beautiful winter landscape - to Gerstenegg. From there you will visit the Grimsel 2 power plant and the crystal cavern and return by cable car to Handegg. |
