Trift Aerial Cable Car

The gondola glides weightlessly above the Trift gorge and takes 8 passengers at a time from the Gadmen Valley up to the Trift area. Once only used for workers, this gondola now accesses a hiking area - the highlight of which is the Trift suspension bridge. With a span of 170m, this is one of the longest suspension bridge in the Alps. It takes a bit of courage, but the view from the bridge across the lake and up to the glacier makes it worthwhile.
