The Grimsel and Susten areas are an Eldorado for hikers and climbers. The alpine passes are also an impressive  driving route for cars and motor bikes.

• Grimsel
  Experience the diversity of the landscape on your way over the Grimsel pass - past imposing storage dams, flanks of grimsel granite, rivers and beautiful natural surroundings. The Grimsel hotels are an excellent place to rest and enjoy a fine meal.
  
• Susten / Steingletscher
  The fascinating alpine landscape along the pass road tempts many a traveller to stop,  relax and enjoy. Numerous hiking trails lead through the area.  
  
• Engstlen
  The road up to Engstlen leads off the Susten pass road. A short walk from the Engstlen car park and you are at the wonderful high alpine lake. The road is subject to road tax from Wagenkehr.
