Delve into the fascinating world of crystals. The unique crystal cavern at Gerstenegg lies around 1.5km in the Grimsel mountain and is the only accessible cavern in its original form in the alps.
It was discovered in 1974 during excavation of the transport tunnel to the KWO Grimsel II power plant and can be viewed during a power plant tour.
